Our impact

LandAid wants to end youth homelessness in the UK. We provide monetary grants and broker pro bono advice to support hundreds of charities each year to work towards our collective mission.

Grants

Across 2022 and 2023 LandAid has given out over £3.5 million in grants to youth homelessness charities across the UK.

Our core grants fund emergency bed spaces, move-on accommodation, and capital projects to renovate existing or create new safe, secure and affordable accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness. Read about our Routes out of Homelessness Grants Programme here.

Each year we also partner with StreetSmart, where we work with restaurants and pubs across the UK to raise money for vulnerable members of their local community facing homelessness by adding a £1 donation to each diner’s bill during the months of November and December.

Pro Bono Programme

We also run a pro bono programme which matches the professional skills of our supporters in the property industry with charities to help them save money and create greater impact in their communities. You can find out more about the programme here.

By the end of our strategic cycle in mid-2024, we plan to create 1,000 homes for young people and increase the value of our pro bono programme to over £1 million per annum.

Our approach to impact

We aim to strike a balance between being able to learn from, and celebrate the impact of, the projects we support, without over-burdening charity partners with reporting requirements.
