This week, over 100 individuals from across the hospitality, charity and property industries came together at Spring Restaurant, Somerset House in London to celebrate the success of yet another brilliant StreetSmart campaign, now in its 25th year!
The overall total raised was an incredible £786,000 of which £510,900 will be coming to LandAid to distribute to youth specific homelessness charities across the UK.
The campaign during November and December 2022 saw £1 added to each dinners bill at over 550 restaurants across the country. Some included Burnt Orange in Brighton raising £6,000, Celentano’s in Glasgow raising £2,000, The River Café in Hammersmith raising £14,000, and Selfridges eateries raising £96,000. A brilliant campaign showing the diverse nature of those who took part but all of whom come together once a year to support StreetSmart.
Awards were given out to thank and celebrate the successes of many restaurants.
