A new campaign has been launched by IVAR and London Funders, calling on funders to adopt simpler, more flexible practices that make life easier for those they fund.
LandAid’s latest grants funding round saw over £230,000 of support offered to charities aiming to help end youth homelessness.
LandAid’s biggest ever SleepOut has seen nearly 1,300 property professionals from across the UK come together to raise over £500,000 to support young people experiencing homelessness.
LandAid is delighted to announce the award of £20,000 in grant funding to Greater Manchester Better Outcomes Partnership (“GMBOP”), in partnership with the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity.
Work has begun to develop the next phase of homelessness charity, St Basils’ innovative live and work project in Sandwell, with the refurbishment of former doctors and nurses residences to create an aspirational young workers’ ‘village’.
LandAid's Grants and Impact Committee met in September to offer feedback on our growing Pro Bono Programme and approve £423,375 worth of grants to charities across the UK. The grants will fund four key projects for DePaul UK/Nightstop, The Foyer Foundation, End Youth Homelessness, YMCA Together.
Phil Kerry is the CEO of New Horizon Youth Centre (NHYC), a leading youth homelessness charity. Under his leadership, NHYC has transformed from a holistic service provider to young Londoners experiencing homelessness to an organisation with national change impact. His vision for change and dedication to the youth sector is inspirational.
