2023 has been a huge year for LandAid. Thank you to all our dedicated friends in the property industry that have helped us to support more young people at risk of homelessness than ever before.
Thursday 30 November saw the second ever instalment of the LandAid Awards take place – bringing over 100 individuals from the property industry and charity sector together, for an evening of both reflection and celebration.
LandAid and StreetSmart award grants totalling over £500,000 from the 2022 campaign to charities tackling youth homelessness across the UK. The 38 grants will support young people on their journey out of homelessness towards a brighter and more stable future.
Dan Hughes, Chair of the LandAid Tech Network, explores its recent successes in utilising technology from the property and built environment industry in supporting young people experiencing homelessness, through raising funds, striving for better data, and enhancing digital connectivity.
LandAid’s latest grants funding round saw over £640,000 of support offered to youth homelessness charities across the UK. This has enabled 240 new bed spaces to be created, to support young people who have nowhere else to turn.

Youth voice is a project within St Basils, funded by LandAid, where a group of young people share their lived experiences of homelessness to bring about change. They have started their own podcast.
A new initiative to make it easier for small charities to access free professional support has been launched during Small Charity Week by 19 organisations, all members of the UK Pro Bono Association. LandAid are proud to be one of these charities.
