Thursday 30 November saw the second ever instalment of the LandAid Awards take place – bringing over 100 individuals from the property industry and charity sector together, for an evening of both reflection and celebration.
Richard Rees, Managing Director at Savills (UK) Limited and Head of National Development Services, has joined LandAid’s Board of Trustees.
The StreetSmart campaign, powered by LandAid, now in its 25th year, is back and encouraging diners to help tackle homelessness throughout the UK by donating £1 per table at the many restaurants, pubs, bars and hotels taking part in the scheme during the busy build up to Christmas.
St. Modwen, one of the UK’s leading property developers, is celebrating after raising more than a quarter of a million pounds for LandAid, the property industry charity, after its fifth annual charity run raised more than £50,000.
LandAid and StreetSmart award grants totalling over £500,000 from the 2022 campaign to charities tackling youth homelessness across the UK. The 38 grants will support young people on their journey out of homelessness towards a brighter and more stable future.
